Simply the best meal I've had in Italy so far. The wine was also exceptional. I cannot imagine having such incredible food at this price very often.

“A journey through Piedmontese and Alpine flavours”This tavern is an authentic gem for those who love mountain cuisine, with a perfect balance between Piedmontese traditions and typical dishes from other Alpine regions. The menu offers the great Piedmontese classics, such as veal with tuna sauce, agnolotti with roast sauce, braised meat and bunet. The Russian salad was really excellent, like the yellow peppers with the bagna cauda that was really light and well balanced, the tomino with caramelized onions that was really super, while the tuna sauce for the veal I found a little off in taste, it didn't excite me.But there is no shortage of forays into the mountain dishes of other regions: howThe savory strudel, really very good, the gnocchi with fondue and crunchy speck, served in a hot earthenware dish, a well-made dish.We tasted the house wine, a perfect dessert to enjoy the chosen dishes. The environment is rustic and welcoming, with furnishings that recall the mountains: wood, heat, from a stove located between the first room and the large room, an atmosphere that invites relaxation. The dishes are really beautiful. The service is impeccable, friendly and attentive, making you feel at home. One negative note but that's my opinion on paper napkins. In my opinion, a nice cloth napkin would have a much warmer and more ecological effect. In fact, one of the peculiarities that I appreciated is the use of the blackboard instead of the traditional paper or plastic menus. An ecological and innovative choice, which adds a touch of authenticity to the experience. The menu, handwritten every day, reflects the freshness of the ingredients: dishes that change according to the season and the availability of local products. It is nice to see how this philosophy enhances both the territory and the environment. From a hygienic point of view, the tavern leaves nothing to chance. Impeccable tables and environments, staff with great attention to detail and management that conveys trust and security.

Excellent restaurant in the center of Viù, in the Lanzo valleys, welcoming, well-kept location, has a beautiful internal room but when the weather permits, I highly recommend sitting in the lovely outdoor area, from which you can enjoy an enchanting view of the Valley. Rich and tasty cuisine, oriented above all towards typical dishes of the Piedmontese tradition, prepared excellently and with the use of excellent raw materials. I recommend the gnocchi with toma fondue and the agnolotti with roast sauce. The homemade desserts are also excellent. Accurate service, very kind staff, honest prices. Must try.

The place is extremely welcoming, furnished in shabby chic style as if it were a home. The very warm welcome proved to be on par with the menu, made up of typical traditional Piedmontese dishes prepared with skill and excellent quality raw materials. We will definitely return with our friends during our trips out of town. Particular note of merit goes to the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff who made us feel truly pampered. Highly recommended!

It's been a long time since I ate so much, so well, spending the right amount (35 euros each for a mix of starters and fassona steak, with wine, water, coffee and bitters), the environment is familiar and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A wonderful lunch with my father that I will remember, they were also able to give us important instructions at the cash desk that we needed.Thank you!

Great small restaurant in the middle of the mountain. The food was really tasty, we sat in the sun, enjoyed a great meal. The service was pretty slow but we knew that they were full and accepted to wait so it’s not a problem.
